A Roblox Quest is a series of Collect-a-thon Platformers created by Radiogamer on Roblox. Similar to the games that inspired the series, the gameplay involves the player exploring different levels, all with their own objectives that must be completed in order to obtain all the items and upgrades needed for the player to progress to the next part of the game.

The series is set in the land of Robloxia. Long ago, this world was created by a Goddess who used five elements to hold it together and gave them to the people who embody them the most. Should these elements ever fall into the wrong hands, then the world will descend into chaos. In the present day, Robloxia is threathend by the villainous Phantom Orb, who seeks to claim the Elements of Robloxia as part of his plan to Take Over the World. Now it's up to the player to travel across the land in order to collect the items needed to reach and defeat Phantom Orb, while also meeting various characters who assist them in their journey.

There are main games within the series and one spin-off. The first game in the series, Quest to the GuestA ROBLOX Quest (Video Game) - TV Tropes (3), was released in 2009. The premise involves the player collecting orbs scattered across five main levels to save the land of Robloxia from the evil Guest, who suddenly gained powers after touching a mysterious orb.

A year later Bloxxy-TooieA ROBLOX Quest (Video Game) - TV Tropes (4) was released. It involves the player traveling to the Isle o' Jiggs to restore the peace by collecting items and defeating an evil witch called Grantilda. As the title indicates, Bloxxy-Tooie takes heavy inspiration from the Banjo-Kazooie series and features levels based on worlds from Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, along with having Notes and Jiggies as its main collectibles.

The third game in the series, Elements of RobloxiaA ROBLOX Quest (Video Game) - TV Tropes (5), was released in 2014 and involves the protagonist once again collecting orbs scattered across Robloxia to reach Roblox HQ in order to put an end to the Phantom Orb's plans for world domination once for all by destroying his latest Doomsday Device called the OmeDarkTron and defeating him in one final battle. In the years following the game's release, Elements of Robloxia would receive several updates that added post-game content like a Boss Rush and a unlockable hard mode.

This game series provides examples of:

  • Boss Rush: After beating the Grand Master Challenge in Elements of Robloxia, an optional area called The Tower 'o Tussles is unlocked. In this area, the player must beat all of the game's bosses one after another. In-between fights, the player can choose between two random items and change their equipped orb within Normal Mode and only pick up a single item within Hero Simulator. Similar to the Arena from the Kirby series, the first few bosses are faced in a random order, while the final three bosses are in a set order. Should the player manage to overcome the Tower's trials, they'll be rewarded with 200 visors and an achievement that mentions whether or not the player beat the Boss Rush in Normal Mode of Hero Simulator.
  • Brutal Bonus Level:
    • Every main game in the series has an unlockable post-game level called the Grand Master Challenge. In order to access these levels, the player must collect every other item in the game. Each of these levels involves the player going through several sections based on the worlds they've visited throughout their journey, and they are required to have mastered each of these worlds' gimmicks and all of their moves in order to stand a chance at beating the level and collecting their game's final item.
    • Elements of Robloxia also features the Temple of the Goddess, a level that can only be unlocked by beating all four of the elemental temples. In order to clear the level, the player must travel through sections themed after each of the four elemental temples using the tools found within the original temples while also solving several puzzles in order to reach the level's exit, all without a single checkpoint throughout the level. Once the player manages to beat the main part of the level, they are faced with a boss fight against that Goddess' Guardian that requires them to use all of their tools to defeat her. Beating the level gives the player an orb as well as an upgrade to their enchanted glove that increases the damage dealt by it.
  • Final Boss, New Dimension: In Elements of Robloxia, after the player destroys the OmeDarkTron in Roblox HQ, Phantom Orb kidnaps Petunia and flees with her into portal that leads into a shadowy dimension filled with purple crystals. Within this dimension is the final level of the main game, where the player is assisted by all of their allies in their attempt to reach the Phantom Orb in order to save Petunia in one final battle against the Phantom Orb.
  • Four-Seasons Level: The first level of Elements of Robloxia is Spring Field, a level consisting of four sections, each themed after one of the four seasons. The player can change the season of the level by stepping on platforms containing a symbol related to the season. note In order to get the first four orbs within this world, the player must overcome a platforming challenge within each of the seasons, while the fifth and final orb involves the player shifting between all four seasons to solve puzzles to reach the final orb.
  • Green Hill Zone: Every game in the series features a grass-themed level as its first world:
    • The Quest to Guest has Great Plains, a world set within a grassy field that features several trees and two mountains that must be climbed by the player in order to reach some of the orbs featured within.
    • Bloxxie-Tooie has Mayahem Temple. Just like the similarly-named level from Banjo-Tooie, Mayahem Temple combines this trope with Temple of Doom by being set in a grassy field containing a Mayincatec temple with totem pole enemies and statues.
    • Elements of Robloxia has the Spring section of Spring Field. This section of the level features two types of flowers that can be used as a platform: one of them is pink flowers that serve as ordinary platformers and the other are red flowers that periodically spawn spikes that kill the player when they touch them.
  • Nostalgia Level: The fourth mission of Elements of Robloxia's Blast-Bang Volcano, the aptly-titled Nostalgia Factor, serves a remake of The Quest To Guest's Crazy Factory that condenses all five of the original world's missions into a single linear platforming stage, including a re-creation of the Mecha-Guest boss fight.
  • Palmtree Panic: Brickland Coast, A Quest to Guest's second world, is a beach-themed level primarily set at the coast of an island with climbable palm trees that allow the player to reach a grotto with a few collectible orbs and an ocean that must be traversed in order to reach a small island containing an orb.
  • Tilesweeper: Elements of ROBLOXia includes an optional minigame called "Visor Sweeper". The game is played with multi-colored visor hats on a 5x5 grid, and the mines are replaced by both black visors, which cause you to lose money, and bombs, which end the game. If you win Visor Sweeper, you'll earn the "Sweeping the Field" achievement and badge.
  • True Final Boss: In A Quest to the Guest, the player can access a battle against the Phantom Orb after collecting all of the game's other 31 Orbs, including the one granted by defeating Guest. Defeating the Phantom Orb gives the player access to the game's winning room as well as the true final level, the Grand Master Challenge.
  • Wicked Witch: The main villain of Bloxxy-Tooie is Grantilda, an evil witch who attacked the Mayahem Temple and shattered the sacred Jiggy, scattering its pieces across the Isle 'o Jiggs. Though this is subverted, as it's revealed that Grandtilda was actually a Cute Witch named Graciela, who only became evil due to her possession by the Phantom Orb.
